Football Expert Sutton Battles Artist Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
Arsenal's ten-match victorious streak was ended by the Black Cats before the international break, but will the English top division leaders bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a plan for this match," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling best this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
The analyst is making predictions for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against AI, readers and a variety of special visitors.
In week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's new album, Knees Up, is available on Friday.
Football and Family Experiences
Murs is a talented footballer as well as a accomplished artist and has been a star of several charity football games down the years - but he is not planning a professional return as a player.
"{I actually played in a charity game the other night for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I came off in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I still love football, but I injured my joint a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I wish I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my child or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have two children, their daughter and their son, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by becoming their manager.
"I won't push football on our kids but I've already told Amelia that if they happen to get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend football side," he said.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our side for several years and had great fun with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Top Division Forecasts

- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to be patient for their star's comeback from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this fixture will be quite tight, though. The Clarets are well organised and their sole at Turf Moor losses so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to go with the London side to win narrowly for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
The singer's pick: The Blues will be too strong. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have lost their past two matches - albeit both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
In contrast, West Ham secured two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they appear strong again.
West Ham's sole on the road win this season came at Forest in August, when West Ham manager Nuno was still that team's coach.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - can West Ham extending their run under Nuno, or the home side responding?
I am going to go with Bournemouth, because I think what happened against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
The pundit's prediction: 2-0
Olly's prediction: Bournemouth are doing well but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's pick: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the campaign started, but they have impressed a several people under their manager and are in good form with three wins in their last four games.
My son advised me to select Bees forward Thiago in my fantasy soccer team a few weeks back and, unfortunately, I ignored the advice.
The forward will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to pick him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this season, and the Seagulls are consistently strong at their stadium. Brentford will attempt to hit them on the break but I think Fabian Hurzeler's team pose much more of a threat.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a lot of scores but it actually proves to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a huge fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got lots of quality in their team but it still seems like they could be dragged into a drop zone fight.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.
The away side's display in the 2-2 draw with the Gunners last time out was superb. We've not witnessed any other team rough up the Gunners like that this season, and they were fully competitive for them.
The sensible thing would be to support the visitors here, because they are clearly able of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they beat Chelsea at the end of last month.
However I am not choose that. Instead, I really need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good outcomes because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Looking at Fulham's home form, the only team they have lost to is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely eager for a positive result, so I am going to say they will pick up three much-needed points.
The expert's prediction: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and also that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been decent at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
The algorithm's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
This is a hard fixture to call. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but might they be one of the teams who benefit from the {international break|
